The inner balancing control of both of the ears gets missing in this medical condition, and because of this, the patient has difficulty walking and also has visual disturbances. Causes of Bilateral Vestibulopathy:
This can occur due to varied reasons such as ‘Autoimmune Inner Ear Disease (AIED)’, ‘Meniere’s Disease’, ‘Tumor’, ‘Trauma’, ‘Ototoxicity’, ‘Migraine’, etc. This can also happen due to the hereditary reasons. Generally, it is also seen that bilateral Vestibulopathy is due to side effects of ototoxic medications. Aging is another natural causes of bilateral vestibulopathy. Yet another possible cause is ‘siderosis’, which is a typical condition in which iron gets deposited in tissues.
Symptoms of Bilateral Vestibulopathy:
