Dr.Anjana after graduating from M.M.C completed her residency in E.N.T. from K.M.C.
She did her Implant Otology training at the Royal Victorian Eye & Ear hospital at Melbourne and with Prof.Magnan. She has also done Frontal sinus training with Prof.David Kennedy and Jim Palmer.
She then went on to do Fellowships in Otology at the Causse’ Clinic in Beziers, Skull base and Otoneurosurgery with Prof.Andre Sultan in Paris, Prof.Jacques Magnan in Marseilles, Prof.Shakeel Saeed at Gray’s Inn Road and Prof.Robert Jackler at Stanford.
Following this she returned to India as a Consultant at Vikram ENT Hospital, while continuing to train ENT Surgeons from all over Europe as a faculty at L Societe d ‘ Otologie Pratique in Otology & Skull Base surgery. She also imparts training to ENT surgeons from all over India and several other countries like Italy,United Kingdom,Srilanka,Lebanon, Iraq etc. as part of the Sheehy – Pyman fellowships at Vikram ENT Hospital.
She has introduced protocols and innovations like nasal splints which have been used to give better results in Endoscopic Sinus Surgery patients for the past 15years. She is also the first surgeon in mainland Asia to have performed the Vibrant Sound Bridge Implant. She runs the first successful Middle Ear Implant program in India.
